Ricardo Pinto received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon in 2010, and in 2011 he joined the Data Systems Division at ESA/ESTEC as a Young Graduate Trainnee. After ESTEC he was a Researcher at the University of Lisbon, working with Reconfigurable Devices, Computer Architectures and Real-time Operating Systems in order to provide architectural support for Time- and Space-Partitioning for Space applications. In 2015 he joined Thales Alenia Space Spain as a Digital Design Engineer, working on projects involving ASIC and FPGAs. Currently he is mostly involved with the Design Engineering of the Scalable Sensor Data Processor ASIC.
