Gianpiero Colonna gets
the Degree in Physics and PhD in Chemistry in Bari University.
Now he works for the Italian National Research Council in the Institute for Plasma Science and Technology. 
He works on modeling of gas discharges and high enthalpy flows 
with state-to-state kinetics. 
He co-authored two books for Springer of the series "Fundamental Aspects of Plasma Chemical Physics"
and co-edited two books for IoP "Meteoroid Entry Physics" and "Plasma Modeling: methods and applications" whose second edition is in press.
