DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Philippe Meyers (ESA)\, Xanthi Oikonomidou (European
Space Agency)\, Vitali Braun (IMS Space Consultancy GmbH)\n\nBackground\n
The Debris Risk Assessment and Mitigation Analysis (DRAMA) Clinics have be
en introduced during the hybrid DRAMA workshop held at the European Space
Operations Centre (ESOC)\, Darmstadt\, in June 2022. The idea is to facili
tate a direct and multi-lateral exchange between members of the DRAMA comm
unity\, which involves a broad range of users as well as different tool de
velopment teams.\nThe first two DRAMA Clinics events (June 2022\, January
2025) had focused sessions for the individual tools known from DRAMA-3. Pa
rticipants were able to join one of the five parallel hybrid meetings (on-
site at ESOC\, and streamed online) and engage in discussions on very deta
iled software aspects for the tools\n\nARES (Assessment of Risk Event Stat
istics)\,\nMASTER (Meteoroid and Space debris Terrestrial Environment Refe
 rence)\,\nMIDAS (MASTER-based Impact and Damage Assessment Software)\,\nOS
CAR (Orbital SpaceCraft Active Removal)\, and\nSARA (re-entry Survival And
Risk Analysis).\n\nThe idea is to achieve a better shared understanding o
f how the tools have co-evolved in the space debris mitigation context ove
r more than two decades\; what the potentials and limitations are\; and al
so to collectively discover ways of improving\, adapting\, and further evo
lving space debris mitigation-related tools in view of current and anticip
ated use cases.\nIn the January 2025 DRAMA Clinics\, some sessions were al
ready recorded and can be accessed via the DRAMA Workshop 2025 website.\nE
vent information\nThe second edition in 2025 (2025e2) will be held on June
13\, offering again a set of dedicated sessions for exchanges among parti
cipants. With the currently on-going transition from DRAMA-3 to DRAMA-4 an
d a changing context at ESA mainly around the Zero Debris approach\, the t
ool-centric approach from the previous editions will be changed to a more
domain-centric approach. The tools can still be unambiguously mapped for m
ost of the clinics\, which will be referencing the current DRAMA 3.1.1 sof
tware\, and an additional session for the upcoming DRAMA-4 software is off
ered:\n\nCollision avoidance (ARES)\nSmall debris risk and vulnerability a
ssessments (MIDAS)\nRe-entry modelling and risk assessments (SARA)\nDispos
al analyses (OSCAR)\nSpace debris population modelling (MASTER)\nDRAMA 4.x
Q&A (including new aspects\, such as trackability and brightness assessme
 nts)\n\nEach session offers:\n\nHands-on support\,\nA friendly\, informal
atmosphere\, and\nAnswers to all your DRAMA questions.\n\nA hybrid approac
h is again envisaged\, where on-site participants from the previously held
Zero Debris Week (June 10 - 12\, 2025) may consider to spend one more da
y in Darmstadt and join the clinics. \nWe plan to have the individual ses
sions recorded and shared here\, given that all participants consent.\nEDI
T (June 17\, 2025): The MASTER and ARES sessions were merged and contribut
ions can be found now in the section on the ARES clinic.\n\nhttps://indico
