DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jorge Amaya (ESA/ESOC)\n\nAbout the workshop\nThis w
orkshop will bring together Europe’s leading developers working at the c
rossroads of numerical modelling and space physics. It’s an opportunity
for experts to showcase breakthrough research and innovative applications
that advance our understanding of the Sun–Earth system.\nBeyond scientif
ic insights\, the event will spotlight the evolution of next-generation fo
recasting tools\, transforming research into operational capabilities for
 real-world space weather applications.\nWhether you’re driving technolog
ical innovation or shaping the future of predictive modelling\, this is th
 e platform to connect\, collaborate\, and lead.\nFee\nParticipation to the
workshop is free of charge\, but registration is mandatory and subject to
approval by the organiser.\nObjectives\nThis event intends to create an e
nvironment of open dialog\, bringing European experts that can help shape
the future of this domain. To achieve this goal we have identified a concr
ete list of objectives:\n\nMap the existing modelling capabilities of diff
erent institutions in Europe.\nPresent the latest results and development
plans for the near future.\nProvide critical inputs for the ESA Space Weat
her Modelling Roadmap.\nDiscuss critical issues blocking the transition to
wards reliable forecasting tools.\nDefine ambitious objectives for the Eur
opean space physics modelling community.\nShare experiences\, ideas\, and
tools.\nMonitor the progress of emerging technology that can radically cha
nge our approach to modelling\, including computing architectures\, AI/ML\
, quantum computing\, data assimilation\, new scientific and operational m
issions.\nExchange ideas on how to access the necessary resources to achie
ve the objectives of the community.\n\n \nContributions\nThe organisers a
re inviting recognised experts in the area of numerical modelling of space
weather\, heliophysics\, and space physics\, to contribute with their exp
ertise. All oral presentations will be held in-person. Each talk is expect
ed to describe the development status of a single numerical model or model
ling framework.\n⚠️ The number of available places is limited. Present
ation slots will be assigned with priority on the order of submission of a
bstracts.\n📺 While the presentations will be in-person\, they will be a
lso streamed online to registered participants.\n\nhttps://indico.esa.int/
