 .\n AI@ESA event is a two-day internal event bringing together the ESA A
 I community and enthusiasts. This event aims at raising awareness on the n
 umerous projects run across all directorates\, to discuss future trends an
 d current challenges\, as well as promote collaboration. Whether you are a
 n expert\, a beginner\, or simply curious about AI\, this event is open to
  everyone within ESA with an interest in AI.\nBuilding on our experience f
 rom the 1st edition of AI@ESA\, this second edition will feature:\n\n30mn 
 deep dive technical talks\n3 panels \n3-5mn lightning talks (e.g.\, to sh
 are an announcement\, pitch an upcoming project\, advertise a demo or a po
 ster)\nDemos to showcase internal pilots\, new applications\, or hardware\
 nPosters \n\n \n\nThe call for contributions will be open from the 5th o
 f January to the 6th of March through this Indico platform. Contributions 
 relevant to one or more of the 4 key domains of the ESA AI strategy are we
 lcomed: \n\n\n\n\nAI for mission design and engineering: Leverage AI tec
 hnologies to enhance the design\, and development of space missions. \n\n
 \nAI for mission operations: Use AI to improve the efficiency and effectiv
 eness of operations\, enabling autonomy.\n\n\nAI for insights from mission
  data: Apply AI to extract insights and knowledge from the vast amounts o
 f data generated by space missions that otherwise would have been hard or 
 impossible. \n\n\nAI for operational efficiency and effectiveness: Levera
 ge AI to provide assistance\, automate processes\, routine tasks\, and fac
 ilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organisation.\n\n\n
 Key dates:\n\n\n\n\n5th January 2026:  Opening call for submitting presen
 tation topics.\n6th March 2026 20 March 2026: Closing call for submitting 
 presentation topics. \n1st April 202621 April 2026:  Authors notificatio
 n.\n15th April 202615th May 2026: Preliminary program release and registra

 ides will not be shared externally. Registration is free\, and mandatory 
 for both in-person and online attendance. Registration is restricted to ES
