DESCRIPTION:The M-IND Initiative – Mid-Size Satellites INDustrialisation
  for LEO constellations\, has as main objective to scale-up production cap
 acity volume for mid-size LEO satellites and as a result reduce cost and l
 ead-time to develop game changing LEO constellation missions.\nThis upcomi
 ng Workshop on 10th March\, in hybrid format (at ESTEC preferably\, also o
 nline) addresses mainly Rec. #3 and #4 below.\n\nREGISTRATION is open unti

 to 18:00 + Networking until 20:00)\n\nTwo complementary surveys (split in 
 5 parts) have been prepared\, for two profiles of Stakeholders.  The out

 \n\nFive M-IND strategic Recommendations were identified in 2025 after 
 consultation from near 30 mid-size European satellite integrators: \nRec.
 #1: Industrialisation: Adoption and raise Manufacturing Readiness Levels (
 MRL). \nRec.#2: Industrial Policy: Enable redundant European supply for L
 EO subsystems & support batch procurement and commercialisation. \nRec.#3
 : Interface Reduction and Communalisation for mid-size satellite interface
 s in order to facilitate interchangeability and interoperability of equipm
 ent and modules.  \nRec.#4: Subsystem Adaptation & Europeanisation: Foste
 r competitive\, modular\, sovereign European supply-chain solutions. \nRe
 c.#5: Constellation Deployment and compliance with Space Debris Mitigation
