DESCRIPTION:\nThe workshop will address the use of SAR data for land use\,
  classification and change detection and will cover applications in the fi
 elds of agriculture\, forestry\, soil moisture\, hydrology and snow.\nThe 
 workshop will include Round Table discussions in support of defining a glo
 bal strategy to develop robust and operational applications that address r
 eal-life topics for society. Participants will be invited to contribute p
 apers/presentations with their answer and views on the current status of a
 pplications using SAR data as well as the foreseen evolution required to e
 nable or maintain robust applications.\nFrom the SAR data exploitation per
 spective\, the workshop will also work towards defining needs for auxiliar
 y data products from either other remote sensing satellites or ground-base
 d networks and systems including climate and forecast models.\n \n\n\nhtt
