DESCRIPTION:The M-IND Initiative – Mid-Size Satellites INDustrialisa
tion for LEO constellations\, has as main objective to scale-up production
capacity volume for mid-size LEO satellites and as a result reduce cost a
nd lead-time to develop game changing LEO constellation missions.\nESA’s
General Support Technology Programme (GSTP) has opened a Request for Info
rmation (RFI) to evolve and industrialise Equipment and technology modules
for mid-size satellites suitable for LEO Constellations (link to ESA News
and LinkedIn-1  and LinkedIn-2 ). \nThese two links contain the relevan
t information :\n\nOSIP link where to submit the Outline Proposal :\nThe M
-IND RFI Guidelines and related RDs  (password protected in esastar)\n\n
In addition\, ESA organises two Webinar sessions with the same content eac
h (one on 31/03\, one on 10/04) to facilitate attendance and with the fol
lowing Agenda:\n\n30 min presentation of the M-IND RFI \n90 min of Q&A by
stakeholders (Industry\, ESA National Delegations) \n\nYou need to REGIS
TER to receive the MS-Teams link to participate in the Webinar. The regist
ration closes the day before. \nIt is strongly recommended that you read
the M-IND RFI Guidelines before you attend the Webinar. \nNote that  the
OSIP link refers to both (M-IND and SMART-IND):  Certification of indust
rial processes should be part of SMART-IND.  Products in mid-size LEO sat
ellites that do not require re-design\, and can go directly into industria
lisation and serialisation should also be submitted directly to SMART-IND.
