DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Marline Claessens\n\nOverview\nThe European Space Ag
 ency (ESA) invites industry from the ALPSTAR Participating States (PS) to 
 the Space Segment Industry Day\, focused on the definition and development
  of the ALPSTAR Space Segment part of Element 2 of the European Resilienc
 e from Space for Earth Observation (ERS-EO).\nERS-EO aims to define and pr
 ovide common guidelines about the federated capability layer that connects
  sovereign systems across national and institutional boundaries through ha
 rmonized standards\, secure interfaces and collaborative operational model
 s. The overarching goal is to bring national or multi-lateral resources to
  better pool and share them.\nAlpstar project will establish a robust fram
 ework for managing and sharing information\, prioritizing security and con
 fidentiality. The primary objective is to design and implement a federated
  system that can effectively integrate various components\, ensuring seaml
 ess information flow and coordination among different stakeholders. The du
 al-use aspect aims to leverage from technologies and solutions that can se
 rve both civil and military purposes maximizing the utility and investment
 s made. \nThe ALPSTAR project includes the participation of the following
  states: Belgium\, Canada\, Latvia\, Poland\, Slovenia\, and Switzerland.\
 nThis Industry Information Day will present the planned procurement activi
 ty. The event will be online via Webex link.\nObjectives\n\n\nPresent ALPS
 TAR mission concept and the space segment preliminary architecture and con
 cept\n\n\nProvide an overview of the Space Segment procurement:  “ALPS
 TAR Phase A/B1 Study for a bespoke SAR mission with optional ELINT” – 
 Activity 3\n\n\nProvide companies with the opportunity to present their ca
 pabilities to the Alpstar team in a B2B settings\, after the general Q&A s
 ession held in plenary\n\n\nPreliminary Programme (15:00–17:00)\n\nWelco
 me\nIntroduction\nERS-EO Programme overview\nAlpstar Space Segment: Activi
 ty 3\nQuestions & Answer session (in plenary)\nOrganisation of the B2B spl
 inter videocalls for the company presentation--End of Main event--\nB2B se
 ssions (in parallel) \n\n \nBilateral B2B splinter meetings with the Alp
 star team will be held in parallel after the Industry Day main event.These
  15‑minute video meetings provide companies with the opportunity to pres
 ent their capabilities to the Alpstar team.\nTarget Participants\nThis eve
 nt is designed for industrial entities active in:\n\n\nSpace systems Prime
 s and Integrators\n\n\nPayload and Instrument Providers\, in particular sp
 ecialized in SAR and RF sensing payload development\n\n\nPlatform and Subs
 ystem Suppliers \n\n\nRegistration\nParticipation is free of charge\, but
  registrations are mandatory and will close on Friday 19 June at 12:00.\n\
 nRegistration for this event is restricted to entities from the Participat
 ing States in Element 2 - ALPSTAR of the ERS-EO Programme. As of today\, t
 hese Participating States are: Belgium\, Canada\, Latvia\, Poland\, Sloven
 ia\, and Switzerland. \n\nBy attending this meeting\, participants acknow
 ledge and agree that their contact information will be shared among the at
 tendees. This is to facilitate future bilateral meetings and ongoing commu
 nication between ESA and individual participants for collaboration and fol
