Join us for an exclusive webinar where, as part of the Zero Debris approach, we will present the three new ESA TDE activities on Design for Demise (D4D), aimed at consolidating and maturing the critical technologies needed to achieve full compliance with Space Debris Mitigation Requirements by 2030.
D4D is a key enabler for reducing the casualty risk associated with atmospheric re-entries. These upcoming ITTs target technological gaps, supporting European industry in developing demisable components and improving understanding of its demise behaviour.
During the webinar, ESA will provide an overview of the scope, objectives and expected outcomes of the following ITTs:
- Characterisaton and Guideline for Future Electronics
- Development of Demisable Star Trackers
- Demisability of Critical Components of Optical Communication Terminals in LEO
This webinar aims to raise awareness and foster collaboration amongst companies, suppliers, and research organisations interested in bidding for the upcoming D4D ITTs or forming consortia to support these activities.
