Description
A SpaceWire link is made from several transmission lines, comprising the Data and Strobe signals in each direction. Faithful transmission can be achieved when either the source impedance of the Driver, or the termination impedance of the Receiver, closely match the impedance of the PCB-traces and/or cable. If there is a mismatch, problems can occur. This presentation will explore the effects of some possibly unexpected mismatches.
