    A SpaceWire link is made from several transmission lines, comprising the Data and Strobe signals in each direction. Faithful transmission can be achieved when either the source impedance of the Driver, or the termination impedance of the Receiver, closely match the impedance of the PCB-traces and/or cable.     The physical layer and how to do a compliance test of a SpaceWire enabled unit has been discussed in the frame of DDR processing in the SpW Std Rev 1 ECSS WG. A discussion shall be triggered to assess to possibilities and to foster the process of finding of an agreed approach.
