Description
Conventional connectors have difficulty with band widening, downsizing and lightening. A contactless connector using electromagnetic coupling enables high speed (~50x) low energy (~1/500x) data communications, and reduced weight and farm factor. Furthermore, it has advantages in mechanical/electrical/chemical immunity, and dc power isolation. In this presentation, the contactless connector using transmission line coupler will be presented from its theory to applications including a satellite processor system.
