The Gala is an optional social event that will be held in the evening of the main event on Monday 2 June at 20:30 to close the day of the YPE. It is set to take place in a Leiden city center venue. This presents a wonderful opportunity to connect with everyone beyond the confines of ESTEC in a dressy casual setting, complete with complimentary drinks (non-alcoholic included), dutch snacks and music.

How much? 25 EUR (Interns will get a discounted ticket of 12 EUR)
Hurry up and register now! Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note: While the event is outside of ESTEC, it falls under the umbrella of ESA, Young ESA, and the YPE. Any inappropriate behaviour will be addressed and, if necessary, reported to HR, potentially resulting in professional and legal consequences.
Register and pay for the Gala:
In the registration form, there is a section at the bottom where you can claim a ticket to the Gala. If you select "Yes", you will be put on the list for a Gala ticket. If your registration to the YPE is approved, you will then receive an email with payment information. Once you receive this email you have 5 working days to pay for the ticket. After 5 days, if you have not paid, your spot to the Gala will be removed.
Even if you do not pay for the Gala, your application to attend the rest of the YPE will remain unchanged.
You cannot attend the Gala if you are not attending the YPE.
To complete the payment, please use the banking information provided in the email you receive. Make sure to include the following payment reference: "<First Name> <Last Name> YPE 2025 Gala" if the character limit allows. If not, please include at least the initial of your first name and your last name. This helps us identify who has successfully paid for the Gala ticket.
Included in the ticket:
The Gala this year aims to be a longer, fancier and more fun event outside of ESTEC to allow YPs to get to know each other in more informal setting. The private event incurs additional costs as we are providing Dutch snacks, drinks and live music. There is no full dinner included so please eat a meal before arriving. We're striving to make it affordable by putting the bare minimum ticket price to make sure we are able to fulfill the minimum turnover fee for the room. We will input money from our budget to make the event as enjoyable as possible! Stay tuned for more details on this exciting event!
There are no more tickets available for the Gala, how can I get one?
If the Gala is sold out, this means that all the spots we have opened up have filled up. We have given 5 working days from the day you received the payment information for people to pay for their ticket. If they do not pay for the ticket in time, the spot will open back up. We will then contact those who asked to be put on the waitlist, one by one, to offer them a ticket to buy. This has the same rule of payment within 5 working days or else the ticket will be offered to the next person.
Refund:
You can request a refund only if you are unable to travel due to your mission being denied. This refund must be requested by Wednesday 30 April.
I am an intern, how does the discount work?
When you receive the email with payment details we kindly ask you to pay 12 EUR and not 25 EUR. We will double-check intern status after receiving this payment.
If you pay 12 EUR but you are not an intern, we will cancel your gala ticket.
