Description
SEA is under contract to ESA to develop a SpaceWire Backplane specification and to specify a suitable backplane connector. Smiths Connectors (Hypertac) are currently developing a prototype connector that meets the specification. As part of the contract SEA is developing a preliminary draft of a "SpaceWire Backplane" standard that will be available for review by the SpW WG. The proposed presentation is to walk through the specification, describe the design rationale behind it, and invite feedback from the working group.
