FAQ

Eligibility

Participation in the 2nd ESA Mission Operations Academy is limited to persons working for organisations or entities, or their subsidiaries, located in one or more ESA Member States, Associate Members or Cooperating States.

Fees/expenses

Participation in the Academy includes coffee and lunches during the four days of the event as well as the welcome dinner. Participants will however need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. We have provided some hotel options for consideration.

Target audience

The ESA Mission Operations Academies are pitched towards professionals of all disciplines who wish to quickly acquire a feeling for the broad spectrum of disciplines related to space mission operations. Participants will get the most benefit out of attending the Academy if they already have at least three years of professional experience.

For students, ESA Academy offers a popular Ladybird Guide to Spacecraft Operations Training Course at both the ESA Education Training Centre in ESEC-Galaxia, Belgium, and the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Germany.
