Join us for the next Zero Debris Webinar: Zero Debris Policy & Governance

Taking place online on Friday 22 May, from 13:00 to 14:30, this webinar will mark an important step in the continued development of the Zero Debris Community and its collective ambition to achieve Zero Debris by 2030.

Following the progress made on the technical side of the initiative over the past year, the Zero Debris Community is now expanding its efforts to address the non-technical dimensions that are essential to success, including market uptake, insurance, regulation, legal frameworks, governance, and broader policy considerations.

Until now, these topics have mainly been explored through the annual Zero Debris Future Symposium, organised during Zero Debris Week. As the initiative matures, a more structured and continuous approach is needed to advance policy and non-technical work across the community.

The session will introduce the proposed new structure of the Zero Debris Initiative, including its inaugural policy working groups, and explain how its different bodies and governance mechanisms will support coordination, decision-making, and progressive community self-organisation.

It will also set out the roadmap towards Zero Debris Week, where the first policy working group workshops are expected to take place and where the finalised structure of the initiative will be presented.

Join us to learn how the Zero Debris Community is evolving and how you can contribute to shaping the next phase of the Zero Debris Initiative on the path toward 2030.
