Holger Zeltwanger (CAN in Automation)


Holger Zeltwanger (born 1952) finished his studies at the Fachhochschule
Braunschweig/Wolfenbuettel (Germany) in 1976 with a diploma in electronic engineering.
He worked at Siemens as a system programmer for two years. After that he was a technical editor for German and American magazines for more than 14 years. In 1992 he founded the international users’ and manufacturers’ group CAN in Automation (CiA). Till that date he is General Manager of CiA.
 




 
Professor Hermann Kopetz (Time-Triggered Technology)

 
Hermann Kopetz is emeritus professor at the Technical University of Vienna. He is the chief architect of the time-triggered technology for dependable embedded Systems and a co-founder of the company TTTech. The time-triggered technology is deployed in leading aerospace, automotive and industrial applications.  Kopetz is a Life Fellow of the IEEE and a full member of the Austrian Academy of Science. Kopetz served as the chairman of the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Dependable Computing and Fault Tolerance and in program committees of many scientific conferences. He is a founding member and a former chairman of IFIPWG 10.4 and has been a member of the ISTAG advisory group at the European Commission in Brussels from 1998-1912. Kopetz has written a widely used textbook on Real-Time Systems and published more than 200 papers.  In June 2007 he received the honorary degree of Dr. honoris causa from the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France.



Luisa Innocenti (Clean Space)


Since beginning 2012 Luisa Innocenti is responsible for the Clean Space initiative in the European Space Agency.
Clean Space aims at guaranteeing the future of space activities by protecting the environment by minimizing the impacts on Earth and Space. This encompasses themes such as eco-design, green technologies and space debris mitigation and remediation.
Previously, Luisa worked in the Launcher Directorate covering different positions, payload interface, responsible for technologies for reusable launchers, ending up in the Future Programmes and Technology Office, in particular addressing strategies for the preparation of future European Launchers. In the Launcher directorate is also in charge of the environmental aspects.
She joined ESA in 1988, working in the ESA research centre in Noordwijk (NL) working in Human Spaceflight Directorate  and she was EURECA (European Retrievable Carrier) Project Scientist.
She graduated in Physics at the Universita’ Statale di Milano in 1988.
She is married and mother of two daughters.
