The venue that shall hold the Conference the DLR site at Oberpfaffenhofen in Germany.
Together with the site at Cologne, the site at Oberpfaffenhofen is one of Germany's largest research centres.
Located near the A96 motorway between Munich and Lindau, the site is home to eight scientific institutes and currently employs approximately 1700 people.
The research centre's main fields of activity include participating in space missions, climate research, research and development in the field of earth observation, developing navigation systems and advanced robotics development.
The veue has been sponsored by the DLR Institute of System Dynamics and Control.

HOW TO GET TO DLR:
From Munich Airport, take S-Bahn line S-1 or S-8 towards Hauptbahnhof (Hbf). At Hauptbahnhof or Laim, change to line S-8 for Herrsching and alight at Neugilching or Weßling station. You can walk to DLR from there (approx. 2.5 km from either station).

Taxi from Germering, Gilching, City Centre, or from the airport:
A taxi to DLR will cost approximately 80 euros from the airport (approx. 45 min) or approximately 35 euros from Munich city centre (approx. 30 min).
Taxis are also available from S-Bahn station Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering (distance to DLR 12 km) and Gilching (distance to DLR 3 km).
Rail and S-Bahn
Take the train to München-Pasing or München-Hauptbahnhof (Hbf). Then take S-Bahn line S-8 for Herrsching and alight at Neugilching or Weßling station. You can walk to DLR from there (approx. 2.5 km from either station).
Car
Motorway Munich-Lindau A 96; exit 32, Oberpfaffenhofen. Turn left towards Herrsching/Oberpfaffenhofen/Weßling at the motorway exit traffic lights. You will see the turnoff for DLR after approximately 800 m on your left.
