Description

Frontgrade (formerly CAES, Cobham, Aeroflex, UTMC) pioneers the future and underpins many of the world’s most critical missions. Our radhard/radtolerant microelectronics empower the world’s leading spacecraft: from leading high throughput commercial communications satellites, earth observation satellites, manned space, deep space exploration, and the latest new space constellations.
Too often system designers are faced with a choice of using antiquated FPGA technology, or one that is much larger and power hungry than required. Frontgrade Technologies partnered with Lattice Semiconductor to bring their small footprint, low power, Nexus platform to the space market. The Nexus platform is based on 28nm FDSOI technology delivering strong performance with radiation tolerance.
Frontgrade will present details of the CertusPro-NX-RT devices, radiation testing summaries for the CertusPro-NX-RT for TID, proton and heavy ion, and highlight additional upscreening underway on the CertusPro-NX-RT.
To meet the high market demand for low earth orbit missions with reliable plastic encapsulated microelectronic components, Frontgrade is at the technology forefront delivering Space PEM qualified devices. Frontgrade will detail our Space PEM screening and qualification flows and compare it to NASA & ECSS flows for multiple flows that will be offered.
