Transportation
A one-off shuttle transfer will be organised at the beginning and at the end of the workshop, with pick-up/drop-off from Catania and/or Palermo airport or city centre. This will not be a continuous shuttle service. The exact schedule and pick-up locations are still to be confirmed.
The shuttle vehicle will have 8 seats, so availability will be limited.
Participants who would like to use the shuttle to travel to Petralia Sottana are kindly asked to contact us as soon as possible, as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Although this one-off transfer will be available, we recommend that participants rent a car if possible, as this will make local transportation easier.
Accommodation
The workshop will take place at the Ex Convento dei Padri Riformati, located on SP29, 90027 Petralia Sottana PA, Italy.
Petralia Sottana is a small mountain town, and accommodation is limited. Most options are small hotels, B&Bs, guest rooms, or holiday apartments. Participants are encouraged to book early, especially if they would like to stay within walking distance of the venue.
Please note that the venue is located in the upper part of Petralia Sottana. Walking distances may be short, but some routes can involve steep streets.
