Cerberus Nuclear brings together highly specialist skills and industry-wide experience to offer comprehensive Radiation Shielding, Criticality Safety and Nuclear Innovation services for the Civil Nuclear, Medical, Research, Defence, and Space sectors. With Cerberus Nuclear looking to utilise its nuclear heritage in the space sector we are already able to handle the complete process required to find the actual radiation exposure a spacecraft and its components experience in a given orbit using Monte Carlo Radiation Transport Codes. This covers the radiation shielding impacts of the outer structure of the spacecraft as well as its internal geometry of a spacecraft, i.e. incidental shielding from other components, and can be completed to ECSS standards if required.
