Getting to AEE

The event will take place at the headquarters of the Spanish Space Agency (Agencia Espacial Española, AEE):

Participants travelling by public transport can take the EA Airport Express bus from the airport to Plaza de Armas. From Plaza de Armas, change to TUSSAM Line 3 towards Pino Montano, leave the bus at Agencia Espacial Española stop.

According to the visitor guide, the EA service operates daily, generally between approximately 04:30 and 01:00, with services commonly every 12–20 minutes. The indicated fare is €6 for a single journey or €8 for a same-day or next-day return journey. Participants should verify the current timetable and fares before travelling.

Arriving from Sevilla–Santa Justa Railway Station

A taxi from Sevilla–Santa Justa railway station to the AEE headquarters normally takes approximately 10–20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Participants using public transport can take TUSSAM Line 21 from the Santa Justa area to Plaza de Armas, and then change to Line 3 towards Pino Montano.

Hotel suggestions

For straightforward access to the AEE headquarters, we recommend staying near Plaza de Armas, the Guadalquivir riverfront, Macarena or Torneo. The following hotels may be considered:

  • NH Sevilla Plaza de Armas, Marqués de Paradas, 13

  • Hotel Inglaterra, Plaza Nueva, 7

  • Hotel Kivir, Paseo de Cristóbal Colón, 3

  • Eurostars Torre Sevilla, Torre Sevilla, Triana

  • Ribera de Triana Hotel, Plaza Chapina, s/n

  • Porcel Torneo, Avenida Sánchez Pizjuán, 32

  • Exe Sevilla Macarena, San Juan de Ribera, 2

  • Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento, Avenida Álvaro Alonso Barba

  • Exe Isla Cartuja, Estadio Olímpico, Puerta G

  • NH Collection Sevilla, Avenida Diego Martínez Barrio, 8

The NH Sevilla Plaza de Armas offers the most convenient direct public-transport connection, as Line 3 can be taken from Plaza de Armas towards the AEE and 10min walking to city center. Porcel Torneo is the closest practical four-star option and may be preferable for participants prioritising proximity to the venue.

Practical information

Summer temperatures in Seville can be very high. For midday journeys, participants may wish to use a taxi or bus rather than walk longer distances. Additional travel time should also be allowed during major events or when temporary road and public-transport diversions are in place.
