Beyond its academic and cultural prowess, the city also offers a diverse culinary landscape and an array of shopping options. With its mild Mediterranean climate and a year-round calendar of events, Pasadena welcomes visitors to explore its gardens, museums, historic landmarks, and unique neighborhoods that reflect both its past and present vibrancy.

If you're arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you can take the I-105 E and I-110 N highways to reach Pasadena. The drive typically takes around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Alternatively, if you're landing at Bob Hope Airport (Burbank Airport - BUR), you have a shorter commute of approximately 20-30 minutes via I-5 S and CA-134 E. Both airports offer various rental car services, ride-sharing options, and taxis for your transportation needs. Additionally, if you prefer public transportation, LAX provides access to the Metro Rail Green Line, connecting to the Gold Line that takes you to Pasadena.
