17:00 to 19:00 - Registration will be open with light snacks.


Monday, June 13 2016
Mayor Reception (Included with registration)

A complimentary reception hosted by the Mayor of Göteborg will be held at the Dickson Palace. After a welcome by the Mayor, attendees and their companions will enjoy light snacks and a drink.

17:30 - Meet in hotel lobby for 20 minute walk to the event
18:00 - Reception begins
19:00 - Reception ends

Attendees and their companions are then free for the evening to experience the sights of Göteborg.

AMICSA Social - Cruise of the Göteborg Waterways (Included with registration)

A local guide will describe the sights of the city with seating available below and on the deck of the M/S St Erik, (named after Erik IX; King of Sweden late 1150) docked at the Göteborg Harbor - bring your camera!

17:30 - Meet in the hotel lobby to walk to the harbor
17:45 - Arrive at Göteborg Harbor and board M/S St Erik
18:00 - Cruise begins
18:30 - Depart boat for Nya Älvsborgs Fästning tour. Your arrival at Nya Älvsborgs Fästning (Fort) will be welcomed with a cannon blast.  The fortress on Kyrkogårdsholmen (Cemetary Island) at the entrance of Göteborg harbor, began construction in 1653.
19:45 - Reboard the M/S St Erik and cruise to the River Café for dinner
22:15 - Bus return to hotel

  • Guest tickets will be available at a cost of 928 SEK / €100.

DSP Day Welcome Reception (Included with registration)

17:30 to 19:00 - A Welcome Reception will be held for DSP Day attendees in the conference area foyer. Companions are welcome.
