Workshop on Gear Technology
will take place at ESA/ESTEC - Noordwijk, The Netherlands, Newton room on the 15th of June 2016.
The Workshop will give European entities in industry and academic institutions the opportunity to present and discuss their latest research and development related to gear design, in particular:
- Software to design gears
- Lubrication, materials, heat and surface treatments
- Mechanical and life testing
- Geometrical alignment
Representatives of the European space community are encouraged to participate in the workshop, which aims at reviewing, discussing and promoting the related approaches and competences in this domain of space mechanisms.
A discussion forum and an optional exhibition of hardware and software items will be offered.

Mechanisms Final Presentation Days 2016
which will also take place at ESA/ESTEC - Noordwijk, The Netherlands, Newton room on the 16th and 17th of June 2016.
The ESA Mechanisms section hosts the annual Final Presentation Days to disseminate the results of research and development activities to interested parties from the ESA member states. The Final Presentation Days represent an opportunity to gain a complete overview of recently completed activities, and the possibility to discuss them with colleagues from the space mechanisms community.

Presentations
Proposals for presentations at both events should be sent in the form of a short abstract. The abstract should not exceed two pages, including any figures.
Please indicate the title of the presentation, the author(s) and the affiliation at the top of the abstract.
There are no specific requirements to the layout and format of the abstracts. However, submission in the form of Microsoft® Word or PDF is preferred.

Questions regarding the abstract submission process should be directed to the same e-mail addresses.
No official proceedings will be published, however the presentations will distributed to the participants after the event.
