We are soliciting abstracts describing findings in areas described below. Anyone interested is invited to send a one-page abstract containing no more than 500 words (text only-no figures, drawings, etc...) to geantsuw@pop500.gsfc.nasa.gov. Abstracts should be received by March 31, 2004. A limited number of late submissions will be accepted until April 26th. The workshop will be unclassified and welcomes international participation.

  • Emerging requirements in space electronics and science detector systems
  • Space environment and planetary exploration applications
  • Simulations of future astronaut and aircrew radiation hazards
  • Interfaces to Web-based space environment analysis tools such as SPENVIS
  • Cosmic ray propagation analyses
  • Microdosimetry and other applications on future micro- and nanodevices in space
  • Recent developments in the simulation of hadronic and electromagnetic physics
  • Other Geant4-related developments relevant for space
  • Implications of IT trends (software, hardware, networks, GRID)
