Description

OASIS latest version was released at the end of 2025. Since then, the tool has been used to assess 30 CNES projects and distributed to a limited number of external partners to collect further user feedback.
Based on a limited set of project/technical parameters (mass, system architecture, mission profile, ground and launch segments), the tool provides order-of-magnitude impact estimates while ensuring methodological and perimeter consistency across projects. OASIS is continuously enhanced over time through the aggregation of results from LCAs conducted by CNES, enabling it to become increasingly accurate.
A quick overview of the tool will be presented. The experience gained during these first months of use will also be shared, as well as the potential for evolution.
