Panel Discussion

A panel discussion on the future adoption of the E-40-07 standardisation effort was planned. The E-40-07 is an emerging standard within the ECSS standardisation body aiming at improving the simulation model exchange and reuse within and between space projects. This round table gave the opportunity to exchange opinions and experience in the early adoptions of the standard as well as providing feedback on activities needed to improve the adoption of the standard.

A panel discussion on the ongoing and upcoming simulator reference architecture efforts was planned for Wednesday 8th of October. By using a reference architecture as the base for the simulator developments the reuse of simulation model implementations within and between space projects can be optimised. This panel discussion gave the opportunity to exchange opinions and experience in the early stages of the reference architecture development as well as providing feedback on activities needed to further improve the architecture.
