Paper Selection & Submission Guidelines

Paper Selection Process

Papers are selected by Technical Committee. Each paper is reviewed by three reviewers drawn randomly from the Technical Committee. The papers are scored in four different areas (relevance to aims of the conference, originality, innovativeness, and impact). The scores are summed for each area and for each reviewer to give a total score for the paper. Papers are then ranked according to their score. Once the paper selection has been completed authors are informed and the conference programme published on the conference website.

The deadline for extended abstract submission is 8th May 2022. Papers for both long and short presentations are solicited. Long papers should contain substantial new technical information while shorter papers may include reviews of equipment, systems and missions. Abstracts should be approximately 250 words in length and must include full contact information (company/organisation, address and email) for the corresponding author and any co-authors. Please also indicate whether the final paper will be a long (6-8 pages) or short (3-4 pages) paper and which session it should be considered for. Following review by the Conference Technical Committee, authors will be notified by email whether their abstract has been accepted; authors can expect to be notified by 10th July 2022. After selection, the completed camera-ready paper is required to be submitted by 21st August 2022.
